With over eight years specifically focused on BMP specifying, sizing, installation, and meeting EPA Regional Water Quality requirements, our experience is oceans apart from our competition. Our experience includes but is not limited to Catch Basin Inserts, Hydrodynamic Separator (HDS) trash capture devices, low-impact development, retention, detention systems, and media filtration devices.  We are the expert working for the customer.

As a developer or Contractor that desires a knowledgeable on-site advisor during installation, we’re there. We have been an on-site advisor for technical guidance on over 400 installations.  Our advice ranges from Catch Basin Inserts, 36” – 120” HDS systems (both online and offline), and media filtration systems.  We work for you, whether one cartridge filter or 800-cartridge filter systems. We also provide Emergency Dewatering services.

Our experts will walk your site with you to identify the types and quantity of BMPs on your site. We will then formulate a cost-effective solution for your site to meet the Regional Water Quality Control Board, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System NPDES requirements for your site. Our field managers, Qualified SWPPP Practitioners (QSPs), are your personal compliance experts.

Our inspection program differs from most of our competitors. Our goal is to reduce how often maintenance is required and save our customer money. We reduce the cost of maintenance by developing an inspection history by doing routine inspection(s) as required by your city, county, or state guidelines. By doing routine inspections, which include floating trash removal, hydrocarbon remediation, and vector control, we address the red flags that scream “Maintenance Required.” Often times an inspector will look into a system and see floating trash and conclude full-service maintenance is required without even checking the sediment load or media condition. We work to extend the timeframe interval between maintenance, saving you money.

Pac Storm prides itself on not having boilerplate maintenance programs. Every system is designed site-specific, so why shouldn’t your maintenance plan be site specific as well? Pac Storm employees are Confined Space Certified professionals, with our newest employee having over three years specifically in stormwater maintenance. We utilize techniques to eliminate bringing a $250,000 vacuum truck on-site for every job. Customers pay for that vacuum truck. We utilize different equipment based on the site, size, and location of the system, saving our customer money.

We do complete sediment removal and disposal, power washing and inspection of internal components during maintenance, internal component repairs as required, and full cartridge filter replacement. We only utilize manufacturer-supplied media cartridge filters and components direct from the manufacturer to ensure the system meets the water quality flow rates it was designed to treat.
